Pipe piles are pipes made of steel that are welded, spiral-welded, or seamless. Pipe piles are used in industries that involve heavy loads or deep foundation structures. The piles are driven into the ground and may be close-ended or open-ended. The piles ensure good frictional load resistance due to the significant surface area which interacts with the surrounding earth. Pipe piles are made of steel, therefore, they can withstand extremely heavy loads. Besides, steel pipe piles are also commonly used in bridge, building, marine, railway, and highway construction.
The common standard for the pipe piles is ASTM A252, the pipe diameter range varies between 10” and 60” (250 mm and 1500 mm), and the wall thickness can go up to 25 mm.
For pile pipe beveling, the Beaver S Automatic and CNC machines can meet the standards and operate perfectly for heavy-duty. Besides, threading and end working are other applications in the pile pipe preparation process. The RTL Z and ZX series provide fast, durable, and accurate end results.
